What do you believe?
At some point in every person’s life this question has to be considered. Evolution or creation?
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
So why is it not good enough to have been baptised, attend church or be a 'good person' in order to enter the Kingdom of God?
Why do we all need to receive the gift?
The Bible teaches that no one can enter Heaven on their own merit. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness's are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.
BUT....
Our sins have already been paid for!!!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 But God commandeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

So, what do you have to do to receive this gift of eternal life?
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acts 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Yes, that's it.... It's really that simple!! Just believe and receive!!

If you reject this free gift the price will be high!
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Revelations 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

What can you do to receive this gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour?
If God is supernaturally dealing with your heart by going through these questions and answers you need a Biblical repentance and NOT to simply "believe". You need repentance and faith as preached by Paul in
Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
You need to be in prayer before God for repentance, admitting that you have sinned against Him and being mournful or sorry because it is God that we have offended. Repentance means to turn around, to change direction.
You need a saving faith, a trusting faith in Jesus, because He died for our sins. Saving faith isn't just believing in some historical character, because it won't change your life! Saving faith receives Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
The new birth of being born again is not a long process; it is a supernatural life-changing event, and this happens when a sinner repents of their sin and puts their faith in Jesus as their Saviour.

If you have repented towards God and put your faith in Christ... You are now a member of the family of God, and you can never lose your salvation!
John 10:27-30 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one.

What next?
Tell someone! Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
It's important to become grounded in God's word so if you haven't already got a Bible, get one. Preferably a King James Version Study Bible. Start by reading the Book of John in the New Testament. Find a good Bible believing church and join in fellowship with other believers.
Proverbs 2312 Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
